The First UK printing of this illustrated edition published by Oneworld Publications, London in 2014. The BOOK is in near Fine condition and appears unread. The WRAPPER is complete and is in near Fine condition. A Blackwells bookshop small sticker to the lower rear cover and a 'Signed Edition' sticker to the upper front cover. The wrapper is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. Full page glossy Illustrations in colour throughout by Aldo Galli, who Richard Adams himself selected to illustrate this work. The book has been signed (without dedication) on the title page by Richard Adams not long before his death. Blackwells Bookshop was one of the very few locations where Richard Adams, who was then in his nineties, signed this new edition. The book contains a map, and a new introduction by the author. This was the author's debut novel and it went on to win the annual Carnegie Medal (UK), the annual Guardian Prize (UK), and other book awards. A beautiful production.
