The WRAPPER is complete and is in near Fine condition. Loosely inserted is a 'Coles Bookshop Signed Edition' bookmark. The wrapper is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. Full page glossy Illustrations in colour throughout by Aldo Galli, who Richard Adams himself selected to illustrate this work. The book has been signed (without dedication) on the title page by Richard Adams not long before his death. Richard Adams, was then in his nineties, when he signed this new edition. The book contains a map, and a new introduction by the author. This was the author's debut novel and it went on to win the annual Carnegie Medal (UK), the annual Guardian Prize (UK), and other book awards. A beautiful production. Increasingly elusive with these attributes.
