The book has been signed to the title page : 'To Frank, Martin Amis'. A ticket for the signing event is loosely laid in as provenance. Part of Martin Amis 'London Trilogy' along with the novel 'London Fields' and 'The Information'. Money was hailed as 'a sprawling, fierce, vulgar display' (The New Republic) and 'exhilarating, skilful, savvy' (The Times Literary Supplement) when it made its first appearance in the mid-1980s. Time Magazine included the novel in its '100 best English-language novels from 1923 to the present'. A very sharp copy of a key title from the late author.
