Full purple cloth with pictorial onlay to front board. 23 cm square. Striking colour illustrations throughout by Clive Hicks-Jenkins. A new translation by the Poet Laureate Simon Armitage - bringing out the original cautionary darkness of this Brothers Grimm tale. A wonderful production. The book is protected in a loose Mylar archival cover.
