The First UK printing published by Hawstead: G. A. Blunden in 1930. Original grey printed boards. Number ‘3’ of only 25 copies printed on special paper, signed and numbered by the author to the limitation page. The total limitation was only 275 copies. The BOOK is in Very Good++ or better condition with the prelims a little toned and spotted and the covers' edges a little rubbed. The bookplate of Kenneth Rae (designed by Rex Whistler) to the front pastedown. Kenneth Rae was one of the Directors at Cobden-Sanderson publishers. The latter had published the author’s classic title ‘Undertones of War’ in 1928. The book is protected in a removable Mylar archival cover. An important WW1 title and a very scarce title to find in commerce with such attributes.
