The first UK printing published by Eyre & Spottiswoode in1930. Number '128' of 250 numbered copies on India Paper signed by Edmund Blunden to the limitation page. The Book is in near Fine condition bound in a dark buckram spine and marbled boards. Top edge gilt. Silk ribbon marker present. The very fine India paper is lightly creased in places. Small area of loss to the lower blank section of the last 'Acknowledgment' page. Edmund Blunden provides a 7 page introduction. A compilation including many major WW1 authors including, Saki, Richard Aldington, H.M. Tomlinson, Andre Maurois, Sapper, Liam o' Flaherty, Henri Barbusse, Ernest Hemingway et al. Housed in the publisher's original slipcase which is complete and is a little rubbed and marked in places. Scarce with such attributes.
