The BOOK is in near Fine condition with original pictorial printed wrappers (issued simultaneously with the hardback edition). The covers and spine are complete. Internally clean with a hint of creasing to the yapped edges of the covers. Issued as part of the 'Saint George' Series, 'The library' is a long poem originally published in 1781 and is the second book that Edward Ardizzone illustrated. A very sharp copy of a scarce title. Protected in a loose Mylar archival folder.
