The First UK printing published by Faber and Gwyer in 1928.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.Light pushing to spine tips.Green top stain still present but mildly faded.Boards are clean and the gilt titling is very bright.Might offsetting and spotting to end papers and prelims.Map end papers.The book is free from inscriptions and erasures.The very scarce, fragile WRAPPER is in VERY GOOD++ condition.It is price-clipped.Mild edge wear with a little loss,rubbing and tears at the spine ends.The colouring to the spine remains very good with slight toning.The EDWARD BAWDEN designed wrapper looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival protector.A very scarce and early example of an Edward Bawden wrapper design.At the time of listing ,the only available copy in wrapper available.Collectible
