8vo., this copy specially bound in a chequered gold cloth design with morocco spine lettered with decorative devices in gilt by Sangorski and Sutcliffe; all edges gilt; containing decorative title and numerous head and tail pieces throughout text, as well as coloured initials, all hand coloured in pink and purple; THE BOOK with some rubbing and marking to spine; a little spotting and toning internally, otherwise excellent, very good ++. The book is protected in a removable mylar cover. LIMITED EDITION, this copy no. 36 of just 60 specially bound copies, with gold cloth provided by the illustrious bookbinders Sangorski and Sutcliffe, and additionally signed by both the editor and the illustrator to the colophon. The brocade cloth is woven with real gold threat. Printed in Caslon's Old Face type on Arnold's mould-made paper, this copy comes additionally with the scarce publisher's prospectus loosely tipped in.
