THE SIGNED LIMITED EDITION.

GALLICO, Paul; Peter SCOTT [Illus.] ~ The Snow Goose. Signed by author and illustrator.

FIRST UK PRINTING. Michael Joseph, London: 1946.

Small folio; pale yellow cloth, lettered and decorated in gilt to spine with a goose vignette in gilt to the upper cover; upper edge gilt, else untrimmed; containing numerous vignettes and headpieces as well as 3 full page tipped-in plates in full colour; contained, unusually, in the rare plain paper dustwrapper; THE BOOK, aside from the odd tiny mark, essentially fine, with many pages entirely unopened; THE WRAPPER, seldom found at all, here very good, with some tears along the spine now internally repaired.
