The scarce third novel in the acclaimed 'Poldark' series
Graham, Winston ~ Jeremy Poldark
Ward Lock & Co. Ltd., London : 1950
The First UK printing published by Ward Lock & Co. Ltd., London in 1950. The BOOK is in Very Good++ or better condition. The binding remains tight. Gilt titling to the spine. Offsetting to the end-papers with some toning to the text-block and to the outer page edges. Contemporary penned previous owner's name and date to the front blank end-paper. The top stain remains bright. Mild handling marks to the boards. The WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good++ condition. A little edge-wear at the spine ends with slight rubbing to the folds. The spine is toned. A few nicks and small closed tears. A little rubbing to the upper front panel edge. The wrapper looks very attractive in the removable Brodart archival cover. The third novel in the acclaimed 'Poldark' series and after 'Demelza', the scarcest. The wrapper is unusually particularly well preserved, and this copy is by far the nicest that I have handled to date. Collectible.
