The First UK printing published by Nicholson & Watson, London in 1939. The BOOK is in near Fine condition with slight toning and spotting to the text-block. Some light spotting to the page edges in a few places. Mild offsetting to the blank end-papers. Free from inscriptions. The WRAPPER is neatly price-clipped and is in Very Good++ or better condition with a little edge-wear at the spine ends. Light rubbing in places with light toning to the spine and flap edges. The wrapper is remarkably well preserved for its age and looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover.
