The sole UK printing published by Wishart & Co., London in 1932. The BOOK is in Very Good++ condition. Some light pushing to the extreme spine tips and a little bumping to the corners. Light toning to the spine and a few mild age related markings to the boards. Mild toning and spotting to the text-block with a little spotting to the page edges in a few places. Light spotting to the prelims. Two small neat penned previous owner's details to the front blank end-paper. A small area of staining to the rear lower hinge. The fragile WRAPPER is complete and is in Very Good++ condition. Mild toning to the spine and folds. A little light edge-wear at the spine ends with a few small closed tears. The wrapper presents very well in the removable Brodart archival cover. An elusive title from the author of 'South Riding'. The first we have handled.
