Full limp white goat vellum, bound by Zaenhsdorf with a gilt design of a bull on the upper cover. Top edge gilt. Printed by Will Carter at the Rampant Lions Press, Cambridge, in Monotype Ehrhardt on Barcham Green handmade paper. Some light toning to the vellum in places. The binding remains tight. Striking coloured end-papers design. The author''s daughter Frieda Hughes' personal copy with her penned name to the top of the title page. One of the most handsome of the Rainbow Press titles. Housed in the publisher's original slipcase which is in near fine condition. A very handsome production.
