Hand-printed woodcut portrait of Le Carre by Stephen Alcorn tipped in as a frontispiece and signed in pencil by the artist. Red quarter cloth with gilt titles to spine and marbled paper-covered boards with printed white title panel to upper board; housed in the publisher's matching plain red cloth-covered slipcase. The BOOK is in Fine condition in like slipcase. The first 3 chapters of the classic espionage tale, produced in a special edition dedicated to children living with HIV/Aids.
