Carnegie Medal Winner

Lively, Penelope ~ The Ghost Of Thomas Kempe : Signed By The Author

Heinemann : 1973

The First UK printing published by Heinemann in 1973. The BOOK is in near Fine condition with just a little spotting and toning to the upper text-block. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The WRAPPER is complete and is in near Fine condition with just a little toning to the upper flap edges. The Antony Maitland wrapper design looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival cover. B/w illustrations throughout by Antony Maitland. The book has been signed (without dedication) by the author to the title page. A very sharp copy of 'The Carnegie Medal Winner' with most copies ending up in the library system. Scarce with such attributes. Only the second copy we have handled to date.
