Three volumes set of 'The Boy, The Mole, The Fox and the Horse' : Vol.1) The First UK printing published by the Ebury Press, London in 2019. This is the 'Waterstones Limited' edition, which is the correct first issue with a complete number line 10-1. The trade edition was issued at a slightly later date. The BOOK is in Fine condition and appears unread. Original cream boards with gilt lettering to the maroon cloth spine. No toning to the boards. Internally clean. The book has been signed (without dedication) by the author to the title page 'Charlie, X'. The book was signed at the Waterstones, Piccadilly, London publication day book launch event in 2019 where the author was appearing. A copy of the ticket for the signing event accompanies this book as provenance. The 'Waterstones Limited' edition is the only edition to have the maroon special cloth binding, a gilt bookmark and an extra illustration. The book was issued without a wrapper and is protected in a removable Mylar archival cover. Striking illustrations throughout in colour and B/W by Charles Mackesy. A very sharp copy of the author / illustrator's best selling title, which was wonderfully animated for TV in Christmas 2022. Housed in a handsome custom solander box with gilt titling made by The Ludlow Bookbinders Ltd. Loosely laid in is the scarce illustrated bookmark for this title. Also accompanying this book is a complete set of five promotional illustrated postcards for this title, which have not been separated and are in fine condition. They are housed within the original printed paper folder. A very scarce ephemeral item - the first I have seen or handled. Vol.2) The First UK printing of 'The Boy, the Mole, the Fox and the Horse : The Animated Story' edition published by The Ebury Press, London in 2022. The Book is in near Fine condition in the original illustrated boards, with no wrapper as issued. Boldly signed by the author 'Charlie X' across the verso of the blank front end-paper and title page. Loosely laid in is the publisher's Bookmark and a copy of the signing event ticket for provenance. Vol.3) The sequel to the first book, 'Always Remember: The Boy, the Mole, the Fox, the Horse and the Storm' published by Ebury Press, London in 2025. This is the 'Waterstones Limited Exclusive' edition, which is the correct first issue with the number '1' to the printing details page. The trade edition (with a blue cloth binding, no Ex-libris page present, and a different page marker) was issued simultaneously. The BOOK is in Fine condition and is unread. Original illustrated cream boards with gilt lettering to the lilac cloth spine. No toning to the boards. Internally clean. The book has been signed (without dedication) by the author to the title page : 'Love Charlie, 9-10-25'. The book was signed at the Waterstones, Piccadilly, London publication day book launch event on the 9th October 2025, where the author was appearing. Only 100 tickets were available from Waterstones, Piccadilly for the signing event. This copy comes with a copy of the ticket for the signing event as provenance. Loosely laid in is the publisher's promotional Bookmark and some small unused illustrated stickers for this title. All three books are protected in removable Mylar archival covers.
