The First UK printing published by Allison and Busby, London in 1980. The BOOK is in near Fine condition with just some light pushing at the spine tips. A few very light superficial indentations to the boards with no loss of colouring. Internally clean and free from inscriptions. Some light toning to the page edges due to the quality of paper stock used. No wrapper, as issued. Strikingly B/W illustrations by the author throughout. The second title in the acclaimed series which went on to run to eight titles in total and was successfully adapted for the TV and the stage. The book is protected in a removable Mylar archival cover. Scarce.
