The sole printing published by The Dolmen Press, Dublin in 1951. Limited to 225 copies. Printed and sewn in the first year of operation by the Dolmen Press. The BOOK is in near Fine condition. Wraps decorated covers. 17 x14 cm. 8 unnumbered pages with title devices in red and with a small dolmen image from an engraving to the last page. Pink and blue on white design to the self-wrappers with printed title label tipped to upper cover. A hint of edge-wear. The book is protected in a removable Mylar cover. The Dolmen Press was an Irish book publisher founded by Liam and Josephine Miller in 1951. It was 'Founded to provide a publishing outlet for Irish poetry, the Press published the work of Irish artists and other artists, such as Elizabeth Rivers, working in Ireland. The scope of the press grew to include prose literature by Irish authors as well as a broad range of critical works about Irish literature and theatre. The Press published a variety of works by W.B. Yeats, as well as the Yeats Centenary Series.'(Wiki). A very scarce title.
