The First UK Printing published by Macmillan, London in 2003. The BOOK is in near FINE condition, and appears unread with just a hint of pushing at the spine tips. The text block remains very clean. Free from inscriptions and erasures. The WRAPPER is complete and is in FINE condition. The scarce publisher's Promotional Wraparound Band is complete and is in FINE condition. The wrapper and band look very striking in the removable Brodart archival protector. The book has been Signed (without dedication) by C.J.Sansom to the title page. A copy of the ticket for the signing event will be provided as provenance. The first title in the hugely successful 'Shardlake' series, which was successfully adapted by Disney+ for TV in 2024. Scarce with such attributes.
