Crown 8vo., cream cloth lettered in red to upper cover and spine; together in the red, green and black printed dustwrapper, priced 7/6 net to spine; THE BOOK very good ++, with slight shelf lean, a couple of marks and bumps to boards but otherwise remarkably clean; slight spotting, mostly affecting the outer edges of the text block but occasionally extending onto pages; THE WRAPPER very good, with some rubbing, darkening, and faint spotting to folds; some shelf wear and marking to the lower panel with one brown line mark; a little sunned to spine and some nicking/chipping to edges, a couple of short closed tears, the longest 2cm in length running into the lower panel; reinforced internally with tape. The wrapper is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. FIRST UK EDITION. This copy complete with the publisher's review slip, stamped and dated 27th September 1934.
