The First UK Printings published by Cassell & Co. Ltd in the early 1950's (n.d.) and printed at the Curwen Press. A complete set of the 8 Vols., all of which are in Very Good++ condition. Softcover format. Staples slightly rusty. Covers are a little marked and toned with a little creasing in places. Internally clean being free from erasures and inscriptions. Wonderful B/W and full page colour illustrations by the author throughout. Subsequently published at a later date in a one volume hardback edition by Cassell. This set is a scarce survivor and collectible with such attributes.
