The BOOK is in near Fine condition being Number ‘1' of copies I-XXV with an additional suite of etchings, from an overall edition of only 75 copies. Book with 6 tissue guarded etchings by the illustrator Arthur Neal. Accompanied by a separate portfolio containing 4 (as issued) of the etchings signed and captioned by the artist in pencil. In addition a further copy of the 'Thaw' etching signed and annotated by the artist. This bonus etching marked 4th proof state. Housed in the original slipcase which has a light mark to the rear cover. With the publisher's 4 page prospectus loosely inserted. Very scarce.
