TONKS, Rosemary ~ The Halt During the Chase.

FIRST UK PRINTING. The Bodley Head, London: 1972.

8vo., aqua linson boards, spine lettered in gilt; together in the unclipped pictorial dustwrapper (£1.80 net to front flap) designed by Derrick Greaves; THE BOOK a very good ++ copy, light discolouration to edges of boards and pushing to spine tips; a few light marks to the edges of the text block but otherwise clean internally; THE WRAPPER very good, darkened to spine and folds with some rubbing, nicking and chipping particularly affecting the spine tips and ends of folds, some splash marks to spine; and slight loss to text at foot; a couple of closed tears, the longest 5cm in length running into the lower panel with some associate rubbing to the panel; evidence of damp mostly affecting the verso.
