8vo., green publisher's cloth, lettered with decorative lines in gilt to spine; together in the unclipped green and black printed dustwrapper (15s. net to front flap); THE BOOK near-fine, with the odd internal spot to outer edges of text block and a little bumped at spine tips; THE WRAPPER very good with some shelf darkening and rubbing; rubbing and chipping to ends of spine and folds; some heavier chipping to the upper edge of lower panel, the largest patch of loss 1cm in depth, and some short closed tears; completely unrestored, internally. The wrapper is protected in a removable Brodart archival cover. FIRST UK EDITION, neatly inscribed 'from publishey Roger Senhouse' to the ffep to Henry Moss, and dated 28.3.51. Senhouse was an English publisher and translator who co-owned Secker and Warburg.
