The First UK printing published by Michael Joseph in 1957.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.Gilt titling remains bright.Mild offsetting to the end papers.Text-block very slightly toned.The pages are clean and the book is free from any markings and inscriptions.The WRAPPER is complete and is in near FINE condition.It has very minor edge wear in places in places and amazingly there is minimal soiling on the rear cover. There is NO fading of colouring to the spine.A little rubbing at corners and folds.A small closed tear to the upper edges of the front and rear covers.The William Belcher design looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival protector.The author of 'Billy Liar' first novel and scarce to find in such collectible condition.
