The First UK printing published by Collins in 1936.The BOOK is in near FINE condition.Clean boards with sharp titling.Usual offsetting to the end papers with some spotting to the text block which has encroached slightly onto the page edges in a few places.Mild dustiness to the upper text block.Corners sharp.Free from inscriptions.The WRAPPER is in exceptionally near FINE condition.It is complete and not price-clipped.Small closed tear to upper font edge.The wrapper looks very striking in the removable Brodart archival protector.Wonderful woodcut plates by the author throughout.Very scarce to find in such condition.The nicest copy we have handled to date.
